How will the curriculum be matched to my child's needs?
Lessons are pitched appropriately so that all children can learn and progress
Through tracking and assessment class teachers are able to analyse the progress of each child.
Teachers take into account the needs of the individual child and differentiate tasks and materials appropriately
Staff participate in termly pupil progress meetings to discuss suitable teaching programmes for each child
Children work in a variety of groupings for example, small supported groups, 1:1, mixed ability and similar ability groups.
“Targets are set to support children’s individual needs and are reviewed and updated regularly, with new programmes of differentiated support organised as necessary.”
